Rolling V Bus Corp. is seeking a School Bus Aide to assist students with boarding and disembarking, support the driver, and maintain order on routes. You will communicate with parents and school officials, observe incidents, and release students to approved individuals.

Training is provided, with a base pay rate of $17.00/hour and a 4-hour daily guarantee. Typical hours are 6:30 a.m.–8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m., with potential increases on permanent routes.

Qualifications

• Background check required for working with children.
• Pre-employment Physical and Drug/Alcohol Test provided by outside entity.
• Provide satisfactory forms of ID and complete pre-employment paperwork.
• References may be contacted by the company.

Responsabilités

• Assist students in safely boarding and disembarking from the school bus.
• Assist the driver with passenger management and communicate with parent/guardians and school officials.
• Observe and report incidents on the route and release students to approved individuals.
• Help in crossing students when necessary and assist in backing-up procedures.
• Act in emergencies according to the training provided; maintain courteous and respectful conduct.
