Job summary

Krise-Transportation-2 in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a HEROES Safety Coordinator to develop and implement safety programs for CDL operations, oversee training, and tailor safety policies across divisions. This role will coordinate investigations and ensure compliance with safety regulations to protect students and staff.

You will collaborate with Terminal Manager, Risk Manager, and Human Resources to maintain records, schedule testing, and drive safety improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general transportation safety and applicable regulations (PUC, DOT, OSHA, EPA, DOL).
• Ability to obtain CDL with P, S, and air brake endorsements within 6 months.
• Strong safety program design and incident investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide all documentation to home office as required for safety incidents.
• Assist Terminal Manager in maintaining safety-related files.
• Schedule and coordinate safety meetings and required drug/alcohol testing.
• Conduct timely investigations into accidents/incidents and employee injury reports.
• Maintain OSHA 300 log for all work-related accidents and injuries.
• Oversee video retention and incident reporting processes.
• Support driver evaluations after at-fault crashes and ongoing safety training.
• Assist with risk assessments and safety training for staff and students.
