KRISE Transportation, Inc. in Harrisburg, PA seeks an Assistant Student Transportation Operations Manager to lead daily facility operations and driver teams.

You will coordinate maintenance, dispatch, routing where applicable, and ensure safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction in partnership with school districts. Required: high school diploma, up to 2 years credit for a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in student transport operations, and the ability to obtain a CDL with P, S and air brake

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate required.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for up to 2 years of experience.
• Three or more years of experience in Student Transportation operations. Prefer 2-3 years in a staff safety/training, shop or dispatch role.
• Previous non-student transportation leadership experience may substitute for up to two years of staff experience.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver License with P, S and air brake endorsements and pass a school bus driver physical within 6 months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily facility operations and provide direction.
• Meet with staff and drivers to communicate mission, vision, and values; address feedback and concerns.
• Interact with school district contacts to ensure satisfaction and identify service improvements.
• Coordinate driver recruitment and training to cover routes and extra-curricular trips.
• Coach operations staff and drivers to improve performance and accountability.
• Review payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and month-end financial reporting as directed.
• Ensure contract reporting and district compliance to optimize transportation operations.
• Engage with the community to support recruitment and relations.
• Identify and implement new technology to drive efficiency and safety.
• Maintain credentials to drive a school bus and be prepared to drive when needed.
