Qualifikationen

• Two years as a School Bus Driver with accident-free driving record.
• One year as a School Bus Safety Trainer.
• Strong AV/electronics systems knowledge.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Three consecutive years of driving with valid license.
• Must have Connecticut CDL Class B with P and S endorsements.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the School Bus Safety Department duties.
• Write narrative reports, event summaries, and activity reports.
• Coordinate and supervise Safety Trainers.
• Complete onboarding, document completion, driver training, road evaluations, accident response/investigation and drug collection.
• Assist drivers with safety policy understanding and compliance.
• Review and report accidents and safety issues in a timely manner.
• Disseminate safety information to operations and safety staff.
• Report to a District Safety Manager or School Bus Safety Director.
