Job summary

Minnesota Coaches LLC in Faribault, MN, is seeking a School Bus Route Driver to transport students safely along designated routes, assist boarding and disembarking, and provide excellent customer service. Requirements include a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; English communication; basic mechanical knowledge; and the ability to pass background checks.

Prior school bus or childcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience in school bus driving preferred, but not necessary.
Basic mechanical understanding to perform pre-trip inspections.
Clear English communication; multilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a vehicle along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Assist passengers, including children and those with disabilities, during boarding and disembarking.
Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and any incidents that occur during the route.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or passenger needs.
