Job summary

Minnesota Coaches LLC is seeking a School Bus Route Driver to transport students safely along designated routes while delivering excellent customer service. You will perform pre-trip inspections, assist passengers including children and those with disabilities, and maintain accurate records of mileage and incidents.

The role requires a valid license with a clean record, strong English communication, and the ability to handle routine reporting.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in school bus driving preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical understanding for pre-trip inspections.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English; multilingual a plus.
• Excellent customer service and a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes and ensure on-time arrivals.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Assist passengers, including children and those with disabilities, during boarding and alighting.
• Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and incidents.
• Communicate route changes or passenger needs with dispatchers and team members.
• Write reports and maintain accurate records as required.
