Job summary

STA is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily routes and communicate with drivers, schools, parents and district personnel. Under supervision of a manager, the dispatcher handles confidential information and maintains privacy when interacting with teachers, administrators, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with schools, parents, drivers and aides; answers telephone inquiries and communicates on two-way radio.
• Ensure employees report to work as scheduled and complete and file paperwork.
• Plan, schedule and assign drivers for daily routes, field trips and events; observe and track route timing.
