Job summary

Putnam County Schools in Winfield, WV is seeking a School Bus Operator (S114) for a 200‑day schedule. You will operate school buses and other transportation vehicles, ensuring safety and on‑time performance in accordance with the district policy.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a CDL Class B with Passenger and Airbrake Endorsements, and meet DMV, drug/alcohol, and training requirements, including First Aid/CPR and WV School Bus Operator Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or TASC.
• CDL Class B with Passenger and Airbrake Endorsements.
• Passes physical examination.
• Three years of experience as a licensed driver.
• Passes DMV Driving Record Check.
• Passes Drug/Alcohol Screening.
• Completes 40 hours of classroom training and 20 hours of behind‑the‑wheel training.
• First Aid/CPR Certification.
• WV School Bus Operator’s Certificate.
