Job summary

Richfield Public Schools in Minnesota is seeking a full-time Garage Supervisor / Mechanic to oversee the district’s garage team and fleet, ensuring vehicles and maintenance equipment are kept in safe, ready-to-use condition. Qualifications

• At least two years' experience providing clear, consistent work direction to other mechanics in a comparable garage setting.
• Working knowledge of Federal and State school bus safety regulations and ability to maintain the District's fleet that complies with those regulations.
• Valid MN driver's license and a driving record that meets or exceeds District standards.
• Ability to secure and maintain the appropriate school bus licensure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate work of all garage mechanics in the district.
• Maintain and repair all motor vehicles, transportation equipment and motorized maintenance equipment owned by the District.
• Ensure safety regulations and compliance for the fleet are followed.
• Assist in securing and maintaining school bus licensure as required.
