Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating passenger transport vehicles preferred.
• Must pass a thorough background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Drives students to and from school and special events.
• Monitors students and maintains good student conduct in the passenger compartment.
• Enforces district policies and rules of conduct; reports issues to supervisor or Principal.
• Performs daily vehicle inspections and ensures bus is operating correctly.
• Identifies and reports vehicle problems needing maintenance or repair.
• Cleans the bus interior and windows; keeps seats clean.
• Documents pre-trip inspections and submits daily reports.
• May assist students with safety belts and getting on/off the bus safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Arizona CDL with School Bus (S) endorsement

First Aid and CPR certifications
