Job summary

Washington Elementary School District 6 Transportation is seeking bus personnel to transport students, conduct pre‑trip inspections, and ensure a safe, orderly ride. You will handle student behavior, assist with field trips, and maintain buses according to district policy.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid within 30 days, and AZ CDL plus AZ Driver’s License. IVP fingerprint clearance is also required. This is a full/part‑time transportation position based in Glendale, AZ.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED prior to hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• AZ CDL and AZ Driver’s License must be valid at hire.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school, including field trips.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and monitor bus safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain student discipline and document incidents as needed.
• Follow routes and safety procedures; communicate with school and parents when needed.
