Job summary

Minnesota Coaches seeks School Bus Drivers to transport students safely on daily routes, field trips, and events. We provide paid CDL training and support from day one, including on-site testing. Part-time, flexible scheduling helps retirees, students, and others balance commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug test, and a DOT physical.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual and team‑oriented mindset.
• No experience required—we train the right people.

Responsibilities

School Bus Driver Paid Training! Voyageur Bus, operating under Minnesota Coaches, is a school transportation company proudly serving the Duluth community since 1971. We are currently hiring School Bus Drivers to support daily routes, field trips, athletic events, and special transportation needs. Whether you already have your CDL or are starting fresh, we will support your success from day one!

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport students and passengers on assigned routes, field trips, and charter events
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Assist passengers during boarding and unloading, including students and individuals with special needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle environment
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
• Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and passengers
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures

Schedule & Flexibility

Part-time, flexible scheduling (25-30 hours a week)

Opportunities for daytime, evening, and weekend work
