School Bus Driver
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers along designated routes while providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Assist passengers, including children and those with disabilities, during boarding and disembarking.
- Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and any incidents that occur during the route.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or passenger needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in school bus driving preferred, but not necessary.
- Basic mechanical understanding to perform pre‑trip inspections.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English; multilingual skills are a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to write reports and maintain accurate records.
- Previous experience in childcare or working with children is an advantage.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
