Job summary

Casa Grande Elementary School District Transportation in Casa Grande, Arizona, is seeking a Bus Driver to transport students on scheduled routes and field trips. The role requires ensuring the bus is safe and that students are protected during loading and unloading.

Responsibilities include supervising passengers, handling incidents, attending trainings, performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and completing reports.

Qualifications

• Alcohol and Drug Test
• Pre-placement Physical Exam
• Criminal justice fingerprint/background clearance
• Random drug testing
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly in English

Responsibilities

• Advises students and other passengers of appropriate behavior
• Assesses incidents, complaints, accidents and/or potential emergency situations
• Assists students and other passengers
• Attends meetings, trainings, etc.
• Cleans assigned vehicles, both interior and exterior; conducts emergency evacuation drills
• Drives school bus(es)
• Fuels assigned vehicle
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Prepares documents and reports
• Reports observations and/or incidents
• Responds to inquiries
• Supervises students and other passengers during transit
• Assists other personnel as may be required
