Qualifications

• Passing alcohol and drug test required
• Pre-placement physical exam
• Criminal background clearance required
• Random drug testing implemented

Responsibilities

• Advises students and passengers of appropriate behavior
• Assesses incidents, accidents and emergencies
• Assists Bus Assistant, students and passengers
• Attends trainings and meetings
• Cleans assigned vehicles interior/exterior
• Conducts emergency evacuation drills
• Drives school bus
• Fuels vehicle and performs basic maintenance checks
• Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Reports incidents and observations
• Responds to inquiries from students, parents, staff
• Supervises students during transit
• Assists other personnel as needed
