Job summary

Qualifications

• English reading/writing and clear communication required
• Pre-placement physical exam
• Background clearance (criminal history)
• Random drug testing
• Alcohol and drug test

Responsibilities

• Advises students and other passengers of appropriate behavior
• Assesses incidents, complaints, accidents and/or potential emergency situations
• Assists students and other passengers
• Attends meetings, trainings, etc.
• Cleans assigned vehicles, both interior and exterior; conducts emergency evacuation drills
• Drives school bus(es)
• Fuels assigned vehicle
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Prepares documents and reports
• Reports observations and/or incidents
• Responds to inquiries
• Supervises students during transit
• Assists other personnel as may be required
