Job summary

American Heritage Schools of Palm Beach County is seeking a School Bus Driver based at our Palm Beach Campus in Delray Beach, FL. The role drives routes, transports students safely, and performs daily inspections in accordance with state laws and school procedures.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a CDL Class A or B with P and S endorsements, a clean driving record, and successful completion of DOT drug screening and background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL Class A or B with passenger and school bus endorsements is required.
• DOT drug screening, clean driving record, medical exam, and background check are required.
• All other company requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus on designated routes according to time schedules and pupil transportation laws.
• Transport students to and from school for curricular and extracurricular activities.
• Pickup and discharge students at established stops and report incidents affecting safety.
• Maintain bus condition through daily inspections and report defects.
• Maintain clean bus interior and orderly student behavior according to policies.
• Communicate with dispatcher via two-way radio and provide route updates.
