American Heritage Schools of Palm Beach County in Delray Beach, FL, is hiring School Bus Drivers to operate a school bus on designated routes, ensuring safety and on-time transport for students.

The role requires a CDL Class A or B with passenger and school bus endorsements, a clean driving record, background check, and completion of required screenings. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with six months bus driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six months previous school bus driving experience or vocational training preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and school bus endorsements.
• Must pass DOT drug screening, physical exam and background check, and other company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus over designated routes on schedule.
• Transport students to and from school for curricular and extracurricular activities.
• Pick up and discharge students at established stops.
• Report incidents affecting safety or operation of the bus.
• Maintain the bus in safe operating condition with daily inspections.
• Communicate with dispatcher via two-way radio.
• Ensure student order and discipline on buses.
• Attend training and development sessions as required.
