Job summary

Butler's Bus Service in Hartford, VT is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver. No CDL? We provide paid training. If you already hold CDL A or B with P & S endorsements, you can join our team. Earn a $1,500 sign-on bonus (effective March 6, 2026).

You will safely transport students on local routes, perform pre-trip inspections, and keep vehicles clean, with weekly pay and guaranteed minimum hours. Benefits includeDental, vision, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Valid DOT medical card
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check & drug screening
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $18-30/hour

Schedule: Part-time, split shift (AM/PM) Weekdays only - no nights, weekends, or holidays

Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours
