Job summary

Butler's Bus Service in Hartford, VT is seeking a Part‑Time School Bus Driver. No CDL? No problem; we provide paid training to help you qualify, and previous CDL B with P & S endorsements is welcome.

You will transport students on local routes, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain a safe, clean bus while communicating professionally with families and staff. Weekdays only, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with P & S endorsements or willingness to obtain (training provided).
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Safe driving record and clean background check.
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience and ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• Drive assigned local routes and maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff.
• Follow state/local traffic laws and school district policies.

Already a fully licensed CDL Driver (A or B) with P & S endorsements ?

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $18-30/hour

Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM)

Weekdays only - no nights, weekends, or holidays

Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours

• Earn a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus (effective March 6, 2026)

Requirements

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain - we train!)

• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)
