Job summary

Voigt's Bus Service in Fridley, MN is seeking a CDL Class B driver to operate school bus routes with AM/PM schedules and charter opportunities. You will transport students, adhere to safety standards, and complete required DOT health and drug tests.

Incentive pay adds to hourly earnings, CDL training is provided, and there are avenues for advancement into roles such as motorcoach or management, with a family-owned culture since 1947.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements required.
• No Airbrake restrictions.
• Successful completion of a Pre-Employment Drug Test and DOT health certification.

Responsibilities

• Drive AM and PM routes for Spring Lake Park or NWSISD.
• Transport students safely and follow DOT regulations.
• Possibly operate school bus charters/activities and attend trainings.

Typical hours:

• Around 2 to 2.5 hours each route (4-5 hours per day)

Upon Hire:

• A valid CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, and no Airbrake restrictions, is required.
• Successful completion of a Pre-Employment Drug Test, along with Federal Random Drug Testing, is mandatory.
• A passable Pre-Employment Physical Assessment must be completed.
• A passable Medical Examination for the DOT Health Card must be completed.
• Paid behind-the-wheel training will be provided.
• A Road Test will be completed and administered by a State Certified Examiner.
