Job summary

TCS Mobility, via TCS Student Transportation, is recruiting professional School Bus Drivers in Charlotte, NC. Join a team that prides itself on safety, reliability, and community service, with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Drivers will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain safe driving practices, and work with routing staff to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while delivering excellent customer service to students and parents.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• Applicants should have a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check, DOT physical, and drug screen.
• Ability to maintain outstanding attendance.
• Must be able to communicate professionally with staff, students, and parents with priority placed on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform required pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain safe driving practices, prioritizing defensive driving and student safety.
• Complete student attendance daily.
• Keep company equipment clean and free of damage.
• Work with the routing team and provide feedback on assigned routes including accurate pickup/drop off times, route path, and stop locations.
• Professional interactions and conflict resolutions with students and parents.

School Bus Driver Requirements:
