Job summary

Epic Healthcare in Lakewood, NJ is seeking a School Bus Driver (CDL Class B with S & P endorsements). We have full-time and part-time roles with pay from $18.00 to $21.50 per hour and a $1,000 New Hire Bonus; training is available.

You will safely operate buses on scheduled routes, perform pre-trip inspections, help students on and off, and maintain passenger records. Shifts include morning, afternoon, day, evening, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B with S & P Endorsements.
• Ability to work 30-40 hours per week.
• Experience preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle checks.
• Strong communication skills (bilingual is a plus).
• Availability to commute to Lakewood, NJ 08701 is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate school buses on scheduled routes.
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Keep accurate records of passengers, routes, and any incidents.
• Assist students with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety.
• Communicate with dispatch about any route changes or delays.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to students and parents.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bus inside and out.
