STA Family of Companies in Town of Cheektowaga, NY is seeking a school bus driver to safely transport students along set routes with daily inspections and safety compliance. The role includes pre- and post-trip checks, monthly safety meetings, and occasional field trips or charters.

We offer a paid school bus training program and a pay rate of $31 per hour to support a stable, community-minded team dedicated to student safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years verifiable driving history.
• Clean driving record within the last 24-36 months.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a CDL.
• Pass Pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus route - picking up and dropping off student passengers at established stops on the route.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Conduct post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Clean bus as necessary to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image.
• Take field trips, activity trips and charter runs when requested to transport students and other passengers.

Come join our team! As a school bus driver, you will have the support of a dedicated, local management team and the training needed to perform your job safely, and with care. Bus drivers are responsible for the safe delivery of students to and from school along set routes, adherence to school bus safety and bus stop safety standards, and daily vehicle inspections, among other duties.
