Konnections Staffing seeks a School Behavior Therapist/RBT to provide school-based ABA therapy in Diamond Bar, CA. Hours are 8:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a $500 sign-on bonus. Travel between school sites is required, and supervision is provided by a BCBA.

The role involves implementing individualized programs for clients and collaborating with the clinical team, families, and staff to support progress and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

School Behavior Therapist/RBT- Diamond Bar

Hours: 8:00am-3:30pm

$500 Sign-On Bonus*

We are looking for full-time therapists to provide school-based ABA/ behavior therapy to children and adults with autism, intellectual disability, and a variety of other developmental delays and needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or RBT certification; those without Bachelor’s Degree who are committed to participating in RBT certification open to apply as well
• Experience with children; experience with children with special needs preferable
• Valid and current driver’s license, car insurance and car/transportation between clients
• Schedule: M-F 8:00am -3:30pm to travel to and from school and aide during school
• Must meet all training and certification requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized programs for clients under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Willingness to assist clients with toileting duties, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety as needed.
• Monitor and document clients' progress
• Collaborate with clinical team, including BCBA or other supportive staff
• Maintain a positive and supportive environment for clients and their families.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues regarding progress, challenges, and goals.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices.

Physical Demands

• Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets).
• Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities.
• Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.)
