Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate School-Based Behavior Technicians to support K-12 students across Los Angeles County. The role offers daytime school hours, Monday–Friday, with weekly direct deposit pay and opportunities for growth.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support, implement BIPs, and collaborate with teachers and specialists to promote positive learning environments. A high school diploma is required; RBT preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification preferred.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in school/ABA/childcare/tutoring/mentoring/SPED.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support to students throughout the school day.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and support IEP goals.
• Promote positive behaviors and help students remain engaged in learning.
• Assist teachers and school staff in maintaining structured classroom environments.
• Collect and document behavior data (training provided).
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, and BCBAs.
