Job summary

Amergis in Upland, CA seeks a Behavior Technician (contract, part-time, 30 hrs/wk) to support students with special needs in a school setting. The role collaborates with teachers and specialists to implement behavioral plans and help learners reach individualized goals.

You will document progress, follow district procedures, and ensure safe, respectful interactions while meeting applicable requirements and maintaining compliance with program standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years pediatric experience preferred.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
• Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement behavior plans and track progress.
• Adhere to safety policies, maintain student records, and comply with applicable regulations.
