Job summary

ANSONIA SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for Prendergast Elementary School to develop and monitor behavior intervention plans, conduct FBAs, and collaborate with staff to support students district-wide.

The BCBA will train staff, co-author IEP goals, analyze data, and ensure best practices in applied behavior analysis across classrooms. This on-site position reports to the Director of Pupil Services and aligns with the district's commitment to student success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and BCBA/LBA certification required.
• Background checks (federal and local) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-district programming with the Director of Student Services.
• Train staff through modeling and monitoring of student data and outcomes.
• Provide consultation to district staff regarding student intervention and instruction.
• Streamline data collection, train staff on data collection, and graph progress.
• Develop behavioral goals to monitor treatment.
• Attend meetings and present data and progress reports.
• Train staff on all aspects of behavior intervention plans.
• Conduct on-site observations and competency reviews to guide staff training.
• Provide skills-based training to district staff on behavior analytic topics.
