Job summary

The EIOS worker will be co-located at Roxburgh College and the Jesuit Social services office in Brunswick. In this role, you will deliver tailored, one-on-one case management support to children and young people at risk of, or in contact with, the youth justice system, with a strong focus on helping them remain engaged in education and achieve positive life outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in early intervention with children and young people is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
• Good knowledge of the Victorian education system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, one-on-one case management support to children and young people at risk of or in contact with the youth justice system.
• Work closely with students to address complex needs and engage them in education.
• Provide secondary consultation and expert guidance to schools to respond to diverse challenges faced by vulnerable young people.
