Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is hiring a School-Based Therapist for Cherry Creek School District. This part-time role provides clinical services in a school setting, including intake, assessments, treatment plans, and collaboration with teachers and staff.

The position emphasizes trauma care, independent work, and working with diverse student populations. On-site schedule is Tue–Thu, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, for a 10-month school-year term.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in professional counseling from CACREP/CSWE-accredited program.
• Must obtain mental health Candidate Permit within 30 days of hire and pursue independent licensure.
• Licensure path includes LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist options.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Deliver individual, family, or group therapy.
