Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a School-Based Therapist to support Cherry Creek School District. This part-time 24 hours/week role delivers therapy and case management in a school setting, building relationships with students and collaborating with teachers and staff.

Expect intake, assessments, treatment planning, and timely documentation on-site. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, EHR usage, and coordination with the school mental health team to support student

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• Must obtain mental health Candidate Permit within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in trauma treatment and working with youth is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services, case management and education to clients.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and individual/family/group therapy.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans; document updates timely.
• Coordinate with care team and community partners; crisis intervention as needed.
• Assist with credentialing and billing processes; maintain records.
