Kintegra Health is seeking a School-Based Therapist (LCMHC(A), LCSW(A), LMFT(A)) to join a multidisciplinary team in Hickory, NC. The role focuses on holistic, school-based behavioral health, screening, brief intervention, education, and referrals for K-12 students.

The position requires a Master's degree in Social Work or related field, licensure (LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT), CPR certification, and prior school-based experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Minimum experience and/or exposure to working within a school, supporting student population.
• LCSW (A), LCMHC (A), LMFT (A) and CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provides evidence-based assessment, intervention, consultation, and referral services for students/families with behavioral and chronic health conditions.
• Works cooperatively as part of the school system team to improve patient care and increase team efficiency.
• Formulates and implements behavioral health and chronic disease management plans using appropriate treatment modalities and community resources.
• Assists administrators, social workers, and teachers with screening, diagnosis, management, and treatment of behavioral health and substance use issues.
• Engages in ongoing assessment and quality improvement to support primary care/behavioral health integration.
• Provides consultative services to school system team members and trains other health care professionals as needed.
• Completes required documentation related to patient treatment and operations in a timely manner.
• Maintains licensure and enhances professional competence through ongoing education and liaison with community resources.
