Job summary

Centerstone in Madisonville, TN is seeking a School-Based Therapist to provide direct counseling services within Monroe County schools. You will work with students, families, and school staff to support emotional well-being and academic success.

In this 10-month position, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, deliver evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with teachers and administrators to create a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Clinical experience through internships, practicums, or professional employment.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling to students in a school setting.
• Conduct assessments and develop diagnoses.
• Create and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide family and group counseling as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and supervision.
• Respond professionally and promptly to client and organizational needs.
