Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a School-Based Therapist to serve students at Mitchell-Neilson Elementary School in Murfreesboro. Work follows the school schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, in a school-based setting to support students and families.

The role requires providing therapy, maintaining clinical judgment, completing intake assessments, and developing treatment plans with timely documentation and supervisory collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in clinical psychology, MH counseling, social work, marriage & family therapy, or MH counseling specialization.
• License-eligible in the respective discipline preferred.
• If Master’s in related field, must show 24 graduate-level credits in psychology, social work, counseling or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to clients in a school setting based on assessments and diagnoses.
• Prepare and update treatment plans, complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Formulate diagnoses after intake assessments and respond to supervision needs.
• Maintain good clinical judgment and adapt to virtual or face-to-face settings as needed.
