Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based role in Detroit, Michigan for the 2026-2027 year. This on-site position offers guaranteed hours and a manageable caseload, with pay ranging from $55 to $70 per hour based on experience and arrangement.

You'll evaluate and treat students, develop IEP goals, collaborate with educators and families, and provide ongoing documentation and progress reports within a supportive district and TheraPeds team.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Michigan SLP licensure or eligible for licensure.
• Experience with school-based practice and IEP processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and monitor individualized IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff.
• Document progress and prepare reports in a timely manner.
• Support AAC users and articulation, language, fluency needs as appropriate.
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, reevaluation, and MDT meetings.
