Job summary

Northwestern Illinois Association provides special education support to 68 school districts in Northwestern Illinois. The Speech Language Pathologist role for the 2026-2027 school year is 180 days per year, 7.5 hours per day, with a salary range of 63,580.83 to 119,211.31 depending on experience.

As an SLP with NIA, you will develop and implement IEP-driven programs, collaborate with teachers and staff, maintain comprehensive records, and participate in IEP meetings while engaging in ongoing

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Illinois ISBE PEL license with Speech-Language Pathology Endorsement.
  • Proficiency with school-based technology and office equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct speech and language services per IEPs to address communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators and specialists to support students.
  • Maintain accurate records of services, assessments and interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to set goals and monitor progress.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
