Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist to support students' communication development under the guidance of the Director of Student Services. The role involves delivering individual and group speech therapy, collaborating with school staff, and conducting IDEA/504 evaluations with timely reporting.

You will design data-based IEP goals, monitor progress, and maintain confidential records.

Qualifications

  • Certification as Speech/Language Pathologist (licensure) in Illinois.
  • Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology required or preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Experience in elementary or middle school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group speech therapy; collaborate with building professionals.
  • Utilize assessments for IDEA or Section 504 evaluations; prepare reports for meetings.
  • Schedule and facilitate Evaluation/Eligibility and IEP meetings for Speech/Language Impairment.
  • Identify and implement data-based IEP goals; collect data and submit quarterly updates.
  • Maintain confidential records and Medicaid billing logs; provide classroom support tools.
