Job summary

Northwestern Illinois Association (NIA) seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to serve 180 days per year, 7.5 hours daily. Responsibilities include delivering IEP-aligned therapy, collaborating with staff, and maintaining documentation.

Salary ranges from $63,580.83 to $119,211.31 depending on experience, with comprehensive benefits and retirement options. Eligible candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure in Illinois.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required for the SLP role.
  • Licensure as required by the Illinois State Board of Education.
  • Endorsement for speech-language pathology in Illinois.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapy and interventions to students per IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators and specialists to support communication development.
  • Maintain accurate records of services, assessments and interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices.

Education

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator’s License (PEL)
Illinois School Support Personnel with Speech-Language Pathology Endorsement
