Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to Pre-K through elementary students for the fall semester in the Newark, NY area. The role supports a network across 2-3 school sites, enabling you to apply evidence-based practices in a collaborative setting.

The ideal candidate will deliver direct SLP services, assist IEP teams, communicate with families and staff, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Current NY Speech-Language Pathologist License.
• Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification.
• CCC or CFY candidates considered.
• Schools-based experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct SLP services to students at Pre-K and elementary levels.
• Travel between 2-3 nearby school sites as part of your weekly schedule.
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs in collaboration with IEP teams.
• Communicate progress, recommendations, and strategies with families and school staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with NY state education requirements.
