Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students in a school setting near Ballston Spa, NY. This contract role runs from September 8 through December 23 with a 35-hour work week.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, collaborate on IEPs, and deliver individual and group therapy while maintaining thorough records and coordinating with families and teachers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid SLP license for New York State.
• CCC‑SLP or CFY eligibility.
• School-based experience with elementary‑aged children preferred.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary school students.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams and families.
• Deliver engaging, evidence‑based therapy—both individually and in group settings—to maximize student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and related documentation.
• Consult with teachers, school staff, and families to support integration of communication goals within the classroom.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support planning.
