Job summary

Florence ISD is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year to provide services to students with speech, language, or voice disorders in the district. The candidate will assess students, develop IEP-based goals, and deliver individual and group therapy, while collaborating with ARD committees, teachers, and families to support communication outcomes.

Master's degree in SLP and state license are required; bilingual ability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Valid license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) or Bachelor's degree and valid Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and provide therapy to students with speech or language disorders per IEP goals.
• Develop clinical management strategies and diagnostic statements.
• Participate in ARD for appropriate placement and goal setting.
