Job summary

Isaac School District is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2025-2026 school year district-wide. This non-exempt role works under a licensed speech-language pathologist to provide individual and group therapy aligned with IEP goals and to maintain required records.

Responsibilities include assisting with screenings, following treatment plans, collecting data, participating in therapy meetings, and collaborating with teachers to support oral and written language development.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of habilitation and rehabilitation of speech, language, and hearing disorders.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple work locations as assigned.
• Proficient with computers and related software.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide individual and group therapy aligned with IEP goals under the licensed SLP.
• Assist with speech-language and hearing screenings (without interpreting results).
• Follow treatment plans or protocols defined by the licensed SLP.
• Track student progress and readiness for termination of therapy services.
• Collaborate with teachers to support language development in the classroom.
• Attend regular speech therapy meetings and maintain records.
• Collect data for monitoring quality improvement and program evaluation.
