Waco ISD is seeking a Speech Pathologist - Assistant to support therapy services for students and assist the supervising SLP in implementing IEP goals across campuses. The role requires collaboration with teachers and staff, data collection, and adherence to SHARS reporting.

The position emphasizes maintaining schedules, documentation, and professional growth while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with district policies.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Texas license as Assistant in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Experience in a school setting as a speech pathology assistant preferred.

Mansioni

• Compile, maintain, and submit data to supervising SLP for special education records.
• Provide therapy to eligible students under supervision, implementing IEP goals.
• Assist with coordination with regular education staff for least restrictive environment modifications.
• Document student progress toward IEP goals with therapy reports and data forms.
• Maintain schedules, six-week therapy plans, attendance logs, and SHARS notes per campus and student.
• Uphold school policies and supervise junior staff as needed.
