Job summary

Isaac School District in California is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 school year. This 9-month position serves district-wide, providing screening, evaluation, remediation and service in speech-language pathology.

The successful candidate will hold at least a bachelor's degree (master's preferred), a valid SLP certificate, and be able to communicate effectively with students, families and staff. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid speech-language therapy certificate issued by the Arizona State Department of Education.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and advise in screening, evaluation, remediation, and service for speech and language.
• Conduct parent-staff interpretive conferences to explain findings and provide recommendations.
• Provide professional consultation to pupils, parents, staff on speech-language defects and rehabilitation.
• Collect and document data for reports or administrative planning requirements.
• Attend professional workshops to maintain current procedures.
