Job summary

Bassett Unified School District is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to support licensed clinicians in delivering speech therapy services to identified students. Under supervision, you will help develop pre-language and language skills, manage therapy materials, and assist with IEP goals in a K-12 setting.

The position is full-time with a 7-hour day schedule, typically Monday through Friday, for about 9.5 months.

Qualifications

• AA degree in Speech and Language Pathology Assistance (accredited by relevant bodies).
• Six months of field experience or 100 hours of internship in speech-language pathology.
• Experience with elementary age children is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment assistance under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Prepare therapy materials and equipment for classroom use.
• Assist with IEP goals and progress documentation.
• Maintain confidential student records and data.
