Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Wauconda, Illinois for the upcoming school year. You will work with a collaborative special education team to strengthen students' communication skills and help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities include evaluations, direct therapy, IEP goal development, documentation, and collaboration with teachers and families. IL licensure and CCC-SLP preferred; CFY encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in SLP required.
• Active Illinois SLP license required.
• PEL or eligibility to obtain PEL.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred; CFY encouraged.

• School Year: 2026–2027
• Setting: Onsite, School-Based
• Caseload: Assigned based on experience and district needs

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide direct therapy services
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable)
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for communication supports
• Support students with a variety of speech, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication needs

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility to obtain one
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply if applicable)
• Previous school-based experience is a plus
