Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a K-12 school district in Illinois to provide speech-language pathology services onsite. The role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across grades K-12, developing IEPs, and collaborating with teachers and families.

The position offers competitive weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and support for professional growth. Candidates must hold an IL SLP license and a PEL, with preference for prior K-12 experience

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from kindergarten through grade 12.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students as determined by IEPs or district requirements.
  • Document treatment progress, maintain accurate records, and complete necessary reports in a timely manner.
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development activities.
  • Serve as a resource to educators and families, offering strategies and support to maximize student success.

Job description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLP license required
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois mandatory
  • Experience with K-12 populations preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering student learning and social development

Primary Responsibilities:
