Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services in Vallejo, CA is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in a collaborative, clinician-led team.

You will evaluate, develop IEP goals, provide direct therapy, collaborate with teachers and families, and help students build communication skills, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active CA SLP License (or eligibility) required.

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
