Job summary

EDU Healthcare is actively hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for Tinley Park, IL to support students in a school environment. You will evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy while collaborating with educators and families to meet IEP goals.

The role emphasizes working within a structured school-based setting, maintaining records, and participating in IEP meetings. IL license or eligibility is required; CCC-SLP preferred and CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active SLP license in IL or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required.
