Job summary

EDU Healthcare is hiring Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in Chicago, IL to provide therapy in charter school settings. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, develop IEPs, and deliver individual and group sessions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain before start).
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required.
